WHO is responsible, or is needed to solve the problem

• The employer, in workplaces, is responsible to provide a safe environment.
• The landlord, in rental housing or commercial space, is responsible to provide a safe environment.
• The public body (school board, hospital, and chronic care facility) is responsible to provide a safe environment for those in their care.
• Others are needed to help assess and solve these problems: investigators, physicians, safety officers, hygienists, HVAC engineers, building science specialists, abatement contractors, and building improvement contractors and suppliers. A team approach is often needed.
